I have a quick query relating to the IP address for my domain name. . . .

when typing in my URL's associated IP it loads the cpannel default installation page. Im wondering if this would somehow affect any furture rankings for my site?

Search Engines recognise that you usually have little control over other sites hosted on the same IP address. A CPanel holding page does not usually link to your site and is therefore seen as unconnected. You only need to worry if you have extremely spammy sites sharing your IP. The holding page probably won't even get indexed.

As long as you don't decide to start setting up spammy sites on the same IP, there's nothing to worry about.
