Hi,

I have a cooking class related site. The site is with a good page rank and also performs well in organic search engine results.

We have got an acreditation for this cooking class from a famous related organisation.

We have now built a new site which is designed such a way that the acredited site is promoting / advertising for our cooking class and users can enroll/enquire for cooking class through this site only.

So I have decided not to give the original site's name in the new site. Instead i can tell about all the classes in the new site itself and ask the users to enquire/enroll. Am I correct in my idea regarding this?

In that case, all the content in the original site (we have several classes taught) has to be rewritten for this new site, is it?

Are any other ideas ? Do anyone follow the similar method ?

It is urgent. So please help me with your ideas.

Thanks
Susan

Yes, the new site should have unique content. Unique means never used anywhere before.

Besides, the two sites are fulfilling differing functions. One site has a specific audience defined by the site promoting it. The other should appeal to the audience that don't use that promoting site. That way you widen your market share.

Agree with ammon again. Like he said they seem to be fulfilling different functions, and as such could survive as entities in their own right.

Thanks black night and egain for your responses. Yes, you are correct.

But i have a doubt. As my main target is ultimately to increase the cooking class bookings, will the keywords targetted in both the sites be similar ?

I hope im clear. Any suggestions ?

Thanks
Susan
