Hi,
I had an issue with my site where I had 2 domains, a .com and a .ie and google seemed to see the 2 as different site and drop the ranking quiet badly. I now have a 301 redirect in place, the ranking is a bit better but is not back as it was, this has been in place for about 3 months.
I also have a non WWW version of my domain for the site, mysite.com for www.mysite.com, I have selected to use the www version with the webmaster tools on Google but I am starting to wonder if this could also affect my ranking and should I put a 301 redirect on this also?
Any thought?

Many thanks
Olivier

A 301 redirect would help, especially for other engines. Do i gather correctly that you decided to stick with one of the two tld's? DId you choose the .ie or the .com one?

Hi,
yes I choose the .ie because it is the Irish top level and I think it show cases us more as an Irish company (we only deal with Irish customers).
It seems to be taking for ever to update thus.

The advantage of the .ie tld is also that you will always show up in local search results :)
