I wanted to alert people to ListLocalBusiness.com (http://www.listlocalbusiness.com), a network of stand-alone business directory websites organized by local market.

List Local Business has just launched. It provides free, immediate listings and links to qualifying local businesses.

Serving more than 50 categories of local businesses (with more in the pipeline) List Local Business offers a free listing that includes business name, contact info, a direct link back to the business website, and a description, all within a vertical environment specific to that business niche.

Businesses do not need to have a bricks and mortar presence, but they must be local in their service area, in order to qualify.
