I read a couple of reviews (from germany) about google's adsense..3 people were fairly pleased with it, whereas another user stated that somebody must have clicked on his ads a whole lot of times during one day (i guess u call that click fraud), he didnt have anything to do with it (ill take his word for it), but google still just cancelled his adsense membership and he never saw any of the money...

so now I'm wondering, if google adsense is the only way for somebody with a rather small website or can you usually sign with affiliate programs even if you 'only' (for me this would be a lot as i havent started yet ;)) several hundred to thousand visitors per day?

Are there any adsense alternatives other than google's adsense? I read about yahoo and possibly amazon doing something similar, but then again whenever I read the word 'adsense' i read about 'google adsense'. Aren't there any other adsense programs that are any good?

Can you do ANYTHING to prevent somebody from randomly clicking lots of google adsense ads on your site, which would cause google to cancel u from their adsense program? I mean of course nobody has a reason to do that in the first place..but then again there are many crazy ppl out there and i wouldn't be surprised if that's happened to more than one person so far...

Hi. Thx for the answer. So I can implement some type of software on my websites, that'll prevent people from committing click fraud on my site? Say for example somebody wants to click on my ads too many times in a too short time period (from the same I.P. adress) he'll just get bounced from the side or unable to click the ads?

In other words I can detect somebody committing click fraud just the way google would detect it, but I can detect it before/while it's happening and thus prevent from being banned due to some maniac trying to ruin my site for fun?

I assume it's the same as with other software: cheap and expensive programs...whereas the more expensive the program is the more likely I'll be to detect the person committing click fraud EARLY on?

I assume if one has a cheap program and only realizes somebody committed click fraud pretty late, it wouldn't be too helpful to contact google and tell them what happened as they use mostly automated answers anyways (due to the large number of adsense participants)?

Anyways, thank you for that! I was kinda scared when I read about the whole click fraud thing yesterday, but just didn't think of software that helps detect it and prevent it! Great to know something like that is out there!

well..or isnt there any really reliable software out there? (im thinking it should be fairly easy to ban somebody clicking ads on your page too much in a too short time period from the same I.P. adress, but it must be more complicated than that once again...))
