when exactly does the yahoo keyword selector tool data turnover to the next month? This month, it looked like July 06 data was available until approx. sept. 15th. After that date, the tool indicated it was pulling August 06 data. However, the keyword frequency data i gathered on sept 10th (july data) and sept 21st (aug. data) was exactly the same.

The tool usually updates the figures for the previous month's searches from about the 10th to middle of the month.

I am getting different figures for July and August searches.

do you think it was just a glitch that the tool still said "july 2006" when I pulled the data on the 10th?

I attempted to gather the same data again today, and now the aug. numbers are different than july. Heres my theory (if anybody cares): The label "july" changed to "aug" around sept. 15. However, the actual data did not turnover until around sept. 25-28. I'm not sure if this is always the case or just for this month. I'll report back next month when I lookup the same keywords.
