We're seeing this too - referrals from MSN went to almost nothing starting yesterday. Here's my question: our adCenter PPC impressions are down too, for yesterday - like, about half what they were the previous day. Generally, our impressions and clicks are pretty steady on weekdays. I can't think of a single reason why our impressions would be cut in half - except if there's some problem with the Live.com thing. Are our ads somehow not showing on all the searches they should be? Is Live.com broken half the time? Are users so confused they're just not searching there? Something else?

While MSN and Live were both up and running the organic results were identical, but the ads weren't. Live.com was always cutting out ad number four, regardless of the search. The top 3 ads were the same across both sites, but the lower positions never were.

Mel, I don't know if this has a relationship to few impressions for some, but I have seen a number of companies getting away with locking up the top positions with mulitple ads.

On the other hand, we have experienced an increase in impressions as well as clicks over the past couple days... WITHOUT resorting to such tactics.

Melissa, I have the exact same problem with my main site - my referrals from MSN dropped from an average of around 700 per day prior to September 14 to about 20 a day now - and it's still the same as of today. Referrals way down, ads down, revenue down...I read about the referrals bug being fixed - it did nothing for me! I'd love to know whats going on - I've had four bog-stock answers from MSN support telling me to read the help guides etc(blah..) !! - at least I know now it aint just me...
