How many people are working the landing pages to fine tune conversion?

Or is there more time spent on the ads and keywords?

I guess you have your answer... :(

I set aside 2 hours each day for the following:

Mon - analytics/reports for the previous week
Tue - ppc ad writting/testing
Wed - Writing blog articles - as many as I can in 2 hours - set to publish one each day
Thu - link building
Fri - AB test on landing pages

These are all things that I think suck about SEO, but unless I devote a specific slot of time to them, they never get done.

By the way, to answer your question, yes I do A/B splits on our landing pages. I run a two week schedule. Week one I run an A/B test. Week two the winner of week one runs the entire week. Then I start over testing the previous weeks winner.

I hope this helps.

All of the above. Not at the same time, of course. ;)

We are constantly refining our keyword list, and we're testing either landing pages or ad copy at any given time.

It is good to know that people are not concentrating on the keywords and the creatives when the landing pages are as big an influence if not more so in some cases.

The expression you can drive a horse to water....

I think if you work the landing pages right you can make them drink.
