Hi, I was reading a thread below and saw this:

"'Estimate the bids needed for each keyword to reach average position 1' function"

Can someone tell me where this is? I've looked high and low. I see how I can estimate traffic based on a base bid, but I can't figure out how to turn it around and tell me what I *should* bid.

Yes, I know the numbers are inflated, I want them anyway.

Thanks!

Under Keyword Performance, you’ll see Manage Keywords and Price Estimation, click on Price Estimation and you will arrive at:

[--] Edit the base bid (CPC) for each keyword

Estimate the bids needed for each keyword to reach average position 1

From there you can play your way around and achieve your aim. Otherwise give the help center a call, and they could walk you through. Hope this helps, :).

Concept sounded cool, so I tried this tool on the 100+ keywords in my campaign. It did a great job of jumpstarting my campaign with one major glitch. I paid $20+ per click on some obscure 5 word phrase that's worth a dime at best.
