Hello all,

Back in April I transferred (via imort) my blog from Geeklog to Wordpress. I have a feeling that my methodology in doing this is the reason I am having these problems. I hope some of you can tell me how to fix this.

About a month back I posted a very unique article on my blog that should rank very well in search engines. And it does. However, clicking the resulting links directs me to very uweird places within my blog. 2 of the top 9 results from yahoo when you search for "very unique article" are mine. However they send anyone who clicks to:

mysite.com/index.php?topic=cooking
mysite.com/index.php?page=13

Neither of these naming conventions are accurate withiin Wordpress, they look more like my old Geeklog names even though I wrote this article way after I converted to Wordpress. Also, the topic it sends me too has nothing to do with the category the post is held within. I'm really confused as to why this is happening.

In Google I get one search result and it sends me to the main page of my blog and not the actual blog post. How can I the results link to send traffic to the correct post and not the main blog?

In MSN the search results send me to the correct categories by subject and date, but not to the actual post. I have the same question here, how do I get traffic to the actual post?

Thank you so much, in advance, for looking at the and all help will be greatly appreciated.
