2 hyphens is fine - just avoid excessive use. You risk being flagged for spam if you would have a domain such as http://www.keyword1-keyword2-keyword3-keyword4-keyword5-keyword6-keyword7-keyword8.com/

Like with anything else in life - don't overdo it ;)
