I have written my first article about the 10 tips to getting started with Google AdWords (http://blog.seoptimise.com/2006/08/10-tips-to-getting-started-with-google.html), any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kev
edit: updated to change title and URL.

Well formulated article Kevin, but you may want to rename it to "A beginners guide to adwords". And I dont mean that in a negative way. I read this as being more of a how to use adwords than a "tip" that would improve your adwords performance.
A tip is something that has been learned from experience and is not in the published guide of how to... do this or that. Virtually everything in your article is in Google's FAQ.
A tip not in Googles FAQ which a newbie would never know until they have experimented with the system would be:
Google penalizes adwords ranking for:
Slow loading pages.. over 5 seconds.
Pages with broken links
Pages with no content and all graphics
These too are also pretty basic tips, but are not commonly found and could be of use to your target audience. I think if you found more info like this you may attract more people to your blog and you wouldnt have to drop links.
Cheers,
Discovery

Thanks for the advice, that's a very good point and I've renamed the article 10 tips to getting started with Google AdWords.
I'll have to make 10 advanced tips the next article! :)
