We were recently cold called by rocketposition staff selling there I-frame technology that they say will put you on top of search results for any keyword you purchase but only if the user has there plugin installed. I have searched the internet and have gotten some mixed results. There are people that say they have not gotten any traffic from rocketposition but there are others that say it is great. I am unsure if this could just be the keyword they chose to use or the service in general.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah I've heard of them. They called one of my clients.

Basically it works like this. You target a keyword. Then anyone with their scumware that searches for that term in the Searchengines gets a huge (actually enormous) banner that shows up above all the other results.

People's browser that have been infected by their "plug-in" detect when a search is done and then automatically rewrite the coding of the search engine page. What you end up seeing is Google with a iframe that is included through a program running on your computer IF you have the "plug-in".

Thing is, spybot and other scumware sniffers are actively trying to purge peoples computers of that rubbish.

They call it a "plug-in" but I have other colorful words for it :D .
