A competitors site, <snip> has a load of links listed when I check it, yet no resource or links page is listed. How if these links are reciprocal, which I think many are.

They have 7 links on Google and only 3 of them are off site.

When I used linkassistant I get about 200 links, none of which show up on the home page.

Lot of people are using 3 way linking, couple of sites that were recently pinged were using them, pattern must be quite detectable IMO...

That would be a logical way of doing it. Any other ideas?
