I remembered a post about Colgate-Palmolive web site not too long ago that sparked some argument on whether the way they placed link is justifiable for their layout/content or they were plain black hat method.

I want to raise this issue with (edited) site:

If you disable CSS in your browser (easily done in Firefox) you'd find it is no-brainer to consider that these extra text and links are extraneous since these contents are should never be placed there but I'd like to see if the consensus of forum members.

Hope you can shed some light on this.
