I am currently listing products on Nextag and I want to find out if anyone has been having a similar experience.

We have been using their ROI Optimizer to remove products that perform very low (High cpc costs, little or no conversions over a set time period). Each month I have been receiving a list of the products that are "removed" from my listings so we can narrow down our product offering to better performing items. I come to find out this week that products that I was told were removed actually have still be up and searchable and being clicked on. I have around 90 products that were removed in the last 4 months, 34 of which have some kind of cpc cost assosciated with them in the last 30 days. I spoke to my reps at Nextag and they told me there were working on some new optimization program to redevelop better keywords and listings for products that have low performance. Little did I know these products I was told were removed were actually being clicked on. I asked for a credit for the amount (couple hundred dollars) and I was denied saying that they will work on my account to fix the listings, and remove any products I dont want listed.

Here's the part I need help with... They told me that this has been occuring recently with other merchants and this is what they were doing for them too. How many of you were told your products were removed, yet found them still racking up fees and have spoke to Nextag and denied a credit?

While I have never encountered your specific situation, I have experienced very similar incindents in the past. My issues have had to do with them incorrectly loading my feeds, such as applying my product information to other merchants or misapplying prices or posting incorrect logos.

I had one specific incident where significant charges were racked up for products with incorrect product data. I escalated to my account manager's supervisory and got he to credit me back the charges and also got them to give me free logo postings indefinitely.

Definitely do not take the current situation lying down. If they told you they were going to remove those products and did not then they owe you a credit. Hopefully you have the email documentation to prove this and if so you should be able to get the credit. Your last resort is to file a clai withyour credit card company.

Best of Luck

I'm having a different problem in that items on my feed that have revised titles & descriptions have not been updated in NexTag - in some cases going back several months. I can say that "sellersupport@nextag.com" is a joke. I've sent three unanswered e-mails and left two un-returned voice mails.

How do I even get an account rep?

I used to have an account rep, then *poof* one day I didn't. I have not been very successful either when trying to contact seller support.

The issue about revised titles and descriptions... when products are normalized with other merchant's products, I have seen them use one description for all the same or similar items. This happens regardless if the data/description is correct or not.
