I am looking for a good SEO training course and I wanted to know what courses people have taken and reccomend. I would like it to be from an actual person and not an ebook.

I recommend search engine strategies and a lot of reading about SEO on various forums and blogs. This is the only way to go really.

I would start with SEO Book by Aaron Wall. (It is an ebook, but a great one!) http://www.seobook.com/

Then figure out the right people in the industry to follow by way of forums, blogs or articles. Many of these people will offer private training.

Search Engine Strategies (SES) is a great place to learn a lot and meet some great people. At SES people are more likely to share information they will not post. Plus, you will develop some great friendships. Then help is only a IM, email or phone call away!
