I have a website sandalwood-flats.co.uk

I am told it is a good idea to have "links" from other sites to help with my page ranking.

However although I must have 20-30 sites linking to mine it appears that google can't find any of them. Some of the links to my site have been there many months.
Yahoo are able to recognize about 12 of the links.

Any ideas why this is ???

Google's "link:" command does not show all the links Google knows about. This is most likely to be the crux of your analysis.

If you know which pages link to you, you can go straight there and view Google's cache of the page. If you see your link in the cache then Google knows about it.
