Two Questions here.
1-I am tracking where users access my site , by key word and position in the search engine. I get results various results , but when I input the same url as provided from my statistical program I do not see the same result and what my program displays.
Example:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ythanbank&hl=en&lr=&start=10&sa=N

This is telling me that specific word has a 10 position under google.co.uk
However, when I paste that into my browser , I cannot see my site (www.vacations-abroad.com)

I have been told that this is because results are localized. But I want to see how exactly my terms are displaying. Is there anyway that I can view these results.
2-I am hosting my site in Russia . (Mainly because I have a russian programmer) Does this affect search engine positions?

In 2004 in SES London - Matt Cutts explained that in order for a .com site to appear as "Pages from the UK" in Google.co.uk then it would have to be hosted on a British server.

If you have a .co.uk domain then Google doesn't need to work out where you're hosted and just assumes you're a "Page from the UK".

However, in recent weeks I've seen .com sites hosted in the UK which still do badly in "Pages from the UK" search in Google.co.uk. These sites all have non-UK WHOIS contact addresses. I suspect WHOIS infomation is becoming more important.

That said, the best thing to do, in my opinion, is to be a .com and host in the UK. That way you'll not scare off international searchers in Google.com and you'l still target UK specific searchers.

Many of you may have noticed major flux in the Google Data centers starting on the 9th of march and continuing today.

It appears that Big Daddy may be on hold for now and many European Google results have switched back from Big Daddy to Jagger or pre Jagger.

I have identified the following as "old" ranking data-centers

216.239.53.99
216.239.57.99
216.239.59.99
66.102.11.99
66.102.9.99
66.102.7.99
64.233.167.99
64.233.167.104
216.239.63.104
216.239.57.104
216.239.53.104
66.102.141.104
66.102.9.104
66.102.7.104
216.239.58.105
216.239.57.147
66.102.7.147
64.233.167.147

And these are new "Big Daddy" data-centers

64.233.161.99
64.233.161.104
64.233.161.105
64.233.161.147
64.233.171.99
64.233.171.104
64.233.171.105
64.233.171.147
64.223.179.99
64.233.179.104
64.223.183.99
64.223.183.104
64.233.185.104
64.233.187.104
66.249.93.104
216.239.37.99
216.239.37.104
216.239.39.99
216.239.39.104

Just from today's research, there may be more or less but it looks like for some reason big daddy is on hold, and some data-centers are showing pretty old results.

Why?

I can now view whatever google search that was initialized to access my site. I can view it now when I click on the link within my statistical program and I can view my website within those search terms.
Boy was I worried. I think it was something going on with Google. Either Big daddy or whatever you call it.

Thanks SEOBrains. :D
